With a “W” Endorsement, a driver can operate.
- A special type wheeled loader on a road with a full class 1 license if the vehicle has a GLW of 6000kg or less at any speed.
- A wheeled loader of up to 18000 kg at a speed not exceeding 30 km/hr or up to 40km/hr if it’s an agricultural motor vehicle.
- With a full class 2 license, operators can drive a wheeled loader with a GLW of 18000 kg at any speed. If the wheeled loader is a vehicle with a GLW of more than 18000 kg, it cannot be driven at a speed exceeding 30km/hr.
- With a full class 4 license, operators can drive a wheeled loader at any speed.
Operator requirements prior to applying for a “W” Endorsement.
- A full class 1,2, or 4 license depending on the GLW of the machine.
- Completion of the supplied pre-learning material
- Evidence of basic operating training
